March 31 is the International Transgender Day of Visibility.
This day is dedicated to celebrating the accomplishments of transgender and gender nonconforming people while raising awareness of the work that still needs to be done to achieve trans justice.
His pronouns are he/him and he is a Brooklyn based diversity, equity, and inclusion advocate who educates through writing, public speaking, and social media.
Max Rigano uses his training, personal, and professional experiences to promote transgender equity and health, both in and outside of the trans community.
He is also a model and fitness instructor and has been published in Men’s Health Magazine and Bicycling Magazine as the first transgender cycling instructor in the boutique fitness space and can currently be found at CycleBar in NYC.
